LIBERATION 4-5 MAY PROGRAM
During World War II, fierce fighting took place in the Nijmegen area. Today, you can still find traces of that struggle. In museums, but also subtly and modestly outside of them. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands. This will be commemorated extensively in Nijmegen and the surrounding municipalities. Visit this website to see what there is to do and see in the area related to the theme of war.
